Miguel graduated from Lisbon University in Portugal before relocating to Scotland in 2010. While in the UK, he developed a strong interest in Restorative Dentistry, which led him to complete a Master’s degree in Aesthetic and Advanced Restorative Dentistry at the prestigious King’s College London. He is also certified by ClearCorrect to provide clear aligner therapy.

He is committed to continuous professional development and regularly attends advanced courses to stay at the forefront of modern dentistry, ensuring the best possible care for his patients.

Under Miguel’s care you can expect a warm, enthusiastic approach and a clear explanation of all treatment options and procedures. Every treatment is grounded in the latest clinical evidence, with a strong emphasis on minimally invasive techniques, designed to preserve as much of your natural tooth structure as possible while achieving excellent, long-lasting results.

Miguel is a member of the Royal Odonto-Chirurgical Society of Scotland, an office bearer on the Lothian Dental Committee, and an Associate Fellow of the College of General Dentistry, an accolade that recognises his dedication to clinical excellence and patient care.

Outside of dentistry, he devotes most of his time to his wife and children.
